Sometimes words are poor at describing things. It’s the case of Untitled! which stands for more than a label, party brand or organization. No need for a name, it’s all about the good vibes coming from Antwerp and there’s evidence to testify it. Everybody’s saying it, from N-Type to Hijak and Sgt. Pokes .... and everyone in the crowd must be feeling it. Untitled! recently celebrated their 2 year anniversary during which they brought in some of the hottest club night line ups ever seen in Belgium. It happens 4 times a year and it’s all about dubstep in case you didn’t know it.
They launched their Untitled! label in april 2009 with tunes from the likes of DJG, Commodo and Sines. Untitled!002 is fresh on the shelves as we speak and features Seven, the dubstep alias of drumandbass fame Eddy Woo moniker and Science, a fresh Belgian production combo formed by Crypt and Scyphus.
“Dial Up” serves a deep and hypnotic track that grows with every listen. Seven effortlessly blends his frequencies and shows his skills without showing his teeth. On the flip “Bamboo Dub” introduces the sounds of Science as this is their debut on vinyl. It’s pure dub pressure business, big half step beats and fat basslines driven by a haunting harmonica riff and ravey stabs.
The vinyl is distributed by ST Holdings and Triple Vision so you can be sure you’ll find it in any dubstep retailing record shop all over the world.
