Sigma have made a name for themselves with innovative, melodious and dancefloor filling drum&bass.
With their track on DJ Zinc’s Bingo Beats label, ‘All Blue’ still holding the crown for most sold drum&bass mp3, releases on labels like Hospital and Viper, and now their own Life Recordings that was launched in March.
Next to these official releases, they are also repsonsible for the best, most vredible reggae remixes the drum&bass world has seen in recent years. Colliebudz ‘Come Around’, Sizzla’s ‘Solid As A Rock’ and Damian Marley’s ‘Jamrock’ have all received the Sigma treatment, to massive recognition throughout the scene. I caught up with Cam, half of the Sigma duo.

This time, all about Rob Sparx and his forthcoming album "Trooper"
Sunday, mummies day and Brussels without car. U can use the second one as excuse one to avoid the first one...But only if u have a terrible headache because you went out like a punk in one of our recommended parties.
Juakali is probably one of the best North American ragga / reggae singer who is contributing to a lot of different electronic musical genres.
Mostly known for hosting the mic at the legendary
Dub War nights in NYC, he also contributed to some dubstep germs like Deliver Dub produced by Secret Agent Gel and of course on the superb Underwater Dancehall, the Dj Pinch album released on Tectonic back in 2007.
Blame appeared in 1990 straight into the British top 40 with his first production. ‘Music Takes You’ wrote history as one of the real rave songs and a turning point in the history of what was going to be drum and bass. Since then he mixed for the Good Lookin series of LTJ Bukem and released songs on Goldie’s Metalheadz label and Mampi Swift’s Charge Recordings. Nowadays he’s passing regularly on BBC radio with his songs full of beautiful melodies and compelling strings.
La fête du travail...mais la fête quand même!
If 2008 was the year the past became ever present in music, as Fact magazine said in their retrospective feature – 2009 is hailed by most of the musical journalists as the year of an even greater diversity and cross-over of musical boundaries.
This vision seems to be acknowledged by the latest releases which show a very eclectic approach in the production of what is called – for the lack of something better – bass music, which now encompasses a multitude of influences that bring underground flavours to the forefront.
Finaly Flying Lotus back in Belgium!! Probably a moment that a lot of people here been waiting for.
Time for some serious dubplate business! Saviour is already for years busy on producing some of the sickest beats in Belgium.
Ok, Yeah as you read in the title this was the final day for us in this beautiful country called Japan, land of the rising sun and the Fuji san. I woke up early this morning, had an appointment with Mari @ J-Wave. I recorded a show for them that will be broadcasted next saturday around 1pm, J-Wave is the biggest station in Tokyo and they have a major exposure here, feel good about that because they spread good music into Tokyo’s air.
Day 10, damn that needed a special treatment, I woke up and decided to take my girl to Odaïba, the other side of the bay; not just by metro but I wanted to take the superb monorail they got.
You take it at Shimbashi station and get off on the other side at Odaïba to get a beautiful view of the bay. The monorail goes right under the impressive Rainbow Bridge and the view is fantastic if you sit in front of the train, there’s no conductor so you sit right there and it felt like i was driving…haha.
As we heard it would rain all day I woke up surprised with some sun outside, took a nice breakfast and walk outside, during that single hour weather changed dramatically from sun into dark grey clouds. Not impressed (we as Belgian are used to that kind of weather.), we took the Toyoko line from our station here to Yokohama.

Springtime is stimulating the creative minds of our Belgian producers.
This month we have three big releases to present to you: LaMadameAvecLeChien, Untitled Recordings and Stainage Mp3 Release.
We say GO BUY and SUPPORT!
Time flies as they say; I think i walked the whole day on drugs, nah not really but I slept 4 hours, stood up and dedicated my day to sneakers.

After the crazy day of yesterday, we woke up around 2pm, enjoyed a sweet Belgian breakfast (yes, we have a department store at the end of the street selling everything we eat at home haaaa!!), isn’t that great? We headed towards Yoyogi for sunday’s craziness, that’s the day the yoyogi-girls come out..
